Most Overrated Band: Converge, The Number 12 Looks Like You, Norma Jean and Dillinger Escape Plan. And Asking Alexandria. And Chelsea Grin. And Metallica, but that's a given.
Most Underrated Band: Vanna, Hidden In Plain View.

As opposed to many edgers I'm not narrowed down to listening to only hardcore (and, in some cases, indie); I have a very broad taste in music. Metalhead, musician, rabid sports fan, TV and film junkie, that's pretty much me. Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, I grew up listening to metal and have never stopped. I play guitar in a technical death metal band along with fellow scribe Eric Burnet. I started writing reviews about 8 years ago on metal-archives and found this wonderful site to write for.
