Dommin and HIM live…an odd pairing? Not at all! They often times sound quite similar in fact! And BOTH do cheesy 80's covers (Dommin covers 'i just died in your arms tonight', HIM of course covering 'wicked game' by chris issak whom you mentioned in the review)

Great album, great review. Though IMO the lyrics are a bit overbearingly cheesy and cliche. Lord knows I love my cheesy pop rock music, but sometimes the singer over does it a bit. Oh well, music is still really good! Cheers!

Dommin bad live? I beg to differ. I caught them on the same tour and I thought they were the 2nd best group of the night. They're heavier live, that's for sure (and no, it's not just the venue playing tricks on me).

I got in a couple moshs when Drive A played. That was a fun night.

Whoever said this band isn't good live. You have got to be joking. This guys is easily one of the best live singers I have ever seen. He has a very classic voice and takes care of it. Wow.

Hey Kristen…thanks for the feedback.
That sucks that Dommin didn't live up to your expectations live, But, I review albums, not live shows.. As a music reviewer I have to take an impartial look at each cd I listen to and give my opinion on whether or not someone should pay money for an album. I'm not a fan of this genre really at all, but with that being said…this cd is actually solid from front to back. Just like a lot of music, somethings aren't for everybody. Believe me I know how u feel though. I've bought many a cd just to be let down with a bands live show. Unfortunately it happens more than it should, that's for sure.

Wow… I'm surprised this album/type of music got a good review. This band opened up for HIM last month [odd pairing] and I have to say I was not impressed. The show was overly-theatrical and the epitome of emo music. I thought the music was horrible [as was the other opening bands Drive A and We Are The Fallen] and I could not get into any song that they performed. If you can't enjoy a band live… then what's the point?
