Yes!!! I am excited to hear about this! I have missed COC since they’ve been gone. The new song sounds awesome, even without Pepper, and I’m looking forward to the new album, for sure.

Woody looks like Serj in that pic and man do they look OLD. I’ve never been a fan of the Animosity lineup and this album hasn’t changed my opinion. Pepper makes C.O.C and gives them their identity. Dean’s voice is so bad.

I love Pepper’s vocals, don’t get me wrong, but this song really isn’t that bad. The vocals are not as good, no, but the guitar riffs still sound thick and massive, and they still maintain that Pepper-era groove that I personally loved. I suppose the whole album could be a let down, and I was never really a fan of Animosity either. Have you heard the whole album already?
I respect your opinion, Lee, but I’m still looking forward to hearing the whole album…

I completely understand where you’re coming from and I respect your opinion as well. I’ve had the album for about a month now and have listened to it countless times. Musically it isn’t bad, but it isn’t Deliverance through In The Arms Of God good either. I couldn’t stand Dean’s voice before and it’s no different now. There are some songs that he sounds like he is singing in a well. HATE THAT! Also, some tracks sound like they were recorded 25 years ago and mixed with music that was just recorded. John is going to be doing the review so he may have a totally different opinion on it. All I’m saying is….fans of the Pepper-era C.O.C are probably going to be highly disappointed.

Fair enough. I’ll just go listen to Wiseblood right now and NOT be disappointed, hehe.

I love Deliverance-era COC, but this album is not my thing at all. Yikes.

Deliverance is one of my favorites, and Wiseblood, too. Those two albums are pretty close for me.

Definitely looking forward to this. Reed Mullin is such a great drummer.
