Stoked to be a part of this site…

I just wanted to take a minute and tell you guys just how excited I am to be a part of this site. Since I was in middle school, I have been surrounded by music of all kinds- ranging from country, hip-hop, jazz, blues and classical. It wasn’t until I started to write music that I realized just how important it was to have so many influences of such a wide variety at my fingertips. Still, to this day, I value all types of music.

That being said, not one of these genres changed my life as much as metal. Since metal found its way into my life (somewhere around my early years of high school), I have not been able to look back. Metal led me through most of my teen years. I started bands and joined bands, but nothing too serious. It was usually just a bunch of guys playing heavy music in their basements. It even led to my first real project and, now, to where I am today…writing reviews for a rock/metal review website.

I get to listen to music, some of which I might never have heard of, if not for this site. Then, I get to share my opinions and ideas with other musicians and friends. And, just maybe introduce a few of you to an unfamiliar artist that could, in turn, change your life. I see many great things coming and I am excited to be part this project.
