Band Bio

started back in 2004, with several musicians in the Thunder Bay wanting to form a group that had no boundaries, and concentrated on the heaviest music they could make. In 2005 with the lineup established and enough material to record an EP, they began showcasing their music live across the country, jumping onto their first Western Canadian tour in August of 2005.

By the end of the year the focus had changed in the band. Several members wanted to pursue their education and chose to leave Thunder Bay to do so. After separating, they quickly realized that something special was missing in their lives. Josh Hogan (drums) ended up contacting the rest of the band about this and by Christmas of 2007 was writing new material again. In 2008 they recorded their EP ‘Bone Crusher’ which had a darker, raw sound to it that captured the direction that the band wanted to go in. After releasing it in August 2008 they hit the road again, touring with friends Faceless Hulk.

More obstacles were thrown in their way when founding guitarist Richard LeBlanc decided to pursue his London, On. based project Terrorhorse. After Richard was replaced by longtime friend/producer Sean Skillen, founding bassist Jamie Smith left to concentrate on his Folk/Indie style project, The Auditor General (in which Josh, Sean and other guitarist Justin Sillman are also involved in). The band pushed ahead, replacing their bassist several times, writing new material and embarking on their longest tour yet, the six week long Bone Crusher ’09 tour which spanned from Quebec to Vancouver. After this they continued writing and are currently finishing up the material for a full length release in 2010. Taking a short break from writing they joined up with Terrorhorse and Guelph, On. band the Karma Cure in November to tour Southern Ontario for 14 days in November, 09. Now with a solid lineup as well as a mature vision, is determined to release one of the most vicious and intense albums of 2010 and do everything in their power to have the entire world hear it.
